Arrogant Michael. Who are they? A five-piece from Milton Keynes whose musical aspirations stretch beyond the baron desert of music where they originated. They are as far as you can get from the "music" currently attributed to the Milton Keynes scene which is proved by their debut recording entitled The Englishman E.P, (available now for free download).

With influences including The Libertines, Oasis and the Beatles, Arrogant Michael have been widely accepted as a fresh change to the local scene. Despite being new and trying to make a name for themselves, the members of the band have known each other for the last 5 years. The origins of the band lay in the ruins of the vocalist Tom and guitarists Michael's first band Miss Marple.

After the demise of their first project they quickly joined forces with Matt (guitar), Rob (bass) and Veggie (drums) who had already been playing together for a couple of months. The decision to scrap all previous material was taken and Arrogant Michael began to work on fresh material. The result can now be seen when the band play live so why not go and check them out for yourselves! Go on, at least it will get you out the house.
